How Long is the Incubation Process?

As your business grows and matures you'll reach a point where you no longer need the services of an incubator.  At that time, you'll graduate from the Centre and move your established business into the community.  Most companies stay at the Centre between one and five years - depending on their level of growth and profitability. 

Do Small Business Incubators Really Work?

The success rate of our graduates is very high.  In fact, international research shows that 80% of the businesses nurtured in incubators survive, as opposed to an 80% failure rate within five years for small businesses that were not provided incubator assistance.  Since our inception in 1991, The Lexington Business Centre has graduated over 45 successful companies.  Small business incubation is most definitely a viable economic development tool.
